Kinna is a level-headed nationally recognized attorney who uses compassion and innovation to help clients with unique needs. She provides full service legal representation in all matters relating to family formation (adoption, surrogacy), dissolution of marriage and domestic partnerships, and disputes involving unmarried/unregistered couples.

Kinna Crocker has a long list of experiences to her credit. She currently chairs the LGBTQI Law Section of the Sonoma County Bar Association and is a member of the Sonoma County Bar Association Family Law Section, Mental Health Liaison Committee, Family Law Institute of the National LGBT Bar Association and Sonoma County Women in Law.  She is also on the Advisory Board of LifeWorks, a nonprofit dedicated to providing mental health services in Sonoma County.

In 2013, she went so far as to develop cutting edge legal theories to secure a posthumous marriage license that allowed a widow to collect spousal benefits that would otherwise have been denied. She not only practices law; she influences it.

From a Spousal Support Client

I am very thankful that I had you on my side. Normally, I am the one doing helping and protecting of others, but it was very nice to have someone like you help me out. I felt confident that you would do a good job for me and get me a fair deal. Thank you for being there for me!

From a Divorce Client

Kinna was an absolute life saver…

Divorcing after a 25 year marriage was so overwhelming and scary –
She made the entire process less intimidating and her calmness was reassuring even when facing a seemingly intimidating attorney my husband hired. I’ll be eternally grateful to her for allowing me to move on with my future.

Oh, and she showed great restraint when my now ex-husband, jumped up from mediation table to turn his (empty) front pockets inside out and shout “what more do you want from me”…

Happy tears…and sad tears.

Thank you for all your assistance and making the process so smooth. It may be more symbolic than anything but I’m sure happy this was finalized before Inauguration Day!

I will enthusiastically recommend you to anyone who asks.

Keep up the good work, Lisa B.
